Our Team

Jim Davis, CRPC, is highly passionate about guiding clients in financial planning, investor education, portfolio management, and investment research. His main goal is to help clients comprehend their financial standing, set goals, create a plan to reach them, and regularly review the plan to ensure it is on track. He has been in the investment industry since 2000 when he ended his 15 year teaching job in high school, where he taught a variety of math courses and coached sports teams.

Jim and his wife Debra have been married for over 35 years and live in Columbia, TN. They are active members of Zion Presbyterian Church where Jim is an elder and Debra is a part of a Jail Ministry. When they have free time, they enjoy spending it with their four adult children and six grandchildren, which is continuously increasing in number.

Tom Young has been in the financial services industry since 2014 and has been a licensed Financial Advisor since 2019. A Columbia, TN native, Tom spent 15 years in East Tennessee before returning home to partner with Jim Davis and Grow Live Give.

Tom is passionate about helping individuals and families maximize their potential by getting their financial house in order. He specializes in financial planning, investor education, goal setting, and portfolio management, working closely with clients to develop strategies tailored to their unique needs and aspirations.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, Delaney, their two children, Ruthie and Shepherd, and their spoiled chocolate lab, Avett. When he’s not with family, you might find him sneaking in a round of golf.

Tom believes both success and contentment come from focusing on two things: Attitude and Effort. Trust God with everything else.
